Mie Van Acker is a woman with a passion for all things natural.
Tapatine is the result of her love for beauty, creative manual labor and her enterprising spirit. Moving through life, travelling to foreign places with an open and curious state of mind, all encounters served as a source of inspiration. Her background as a historian and anthropologist could not prevent her from turning to her mission: create.

She is the author of the book “Brieven aan Tim”, Lannoo 2005, and now shapes beauty with her hands out of the gifts of nature.
